Press Bursaries available at The Style Academy

The Style Academy is pleased to announce that 25 Press Bursaries are to be made available for journalists to come and experience The Style Academy first-hand. The bursaries will include all accommodation, meals and beverages, and access to a wide range of workshops and courses. Pre-approved travel expenses will also be reimbursed. 15 Press Bursaries are to be made available for The Style Academy Glenmuick during November/December 2012 and 10 for NorthCourt on the Isle of Wight, upon which The Style Academy will decadently descend in January/February 2013. VisitBritain

As a new venture for Scotland and the rest of the UK, The Style Academy is delighted that it has been chosen by VisitBritain as one of a select number of Fourth Quarter 2012 projects. The organisation, which promotes British vacations from within Britain and abroad, will promote The Style Academy's eclectic and sumptuous range of offerings to its 21 press partners across the world this winter.

The Style Academy is bubbling over with excitement that it is able to announce a partnership with one of the world's leading champagne houses. Veuve Clicquot is set to be the champagne of choice at The Style Academy, featuring within the comprehensive wine and champagne list, playing a vital part in our Champagne Tasting courses and flowing at special events, including launch night on Thursday 15 November 2012.

The Style Academy has become the first cooking school in Great Britain to partner with iittala, the Scandinavian purveyor of quality contemporary homewares. iittala has provided a large selection of cooking equipment from the stunning Hackman Collection for The Style Academy's Cooking School. These top-of-the-range products from iittala will make a stunning addition to our kitchens.

Gordon & MacPhail

The Speyside-based distillers and wine and spirits merchants have partnered with The Style Academy to provide all wines and spirits to our five locations across the UK, as well as working with us to offer a fabulous array of whisky tastings. Established in 1895, this family-run business will be supplying its staple Glenlivet and the rescued-from-obscurity Benromach (produced by just two experienced distillers) for The Style Academy's opening launch night. The Style Academy is thrilled to be working with such an esteemed institution as Gordon & MacPhail.

Johnstons of Elgin

Leading cashmere and tweed creators Johnstons of Elgin are supplying The Style Academy with fabrics for its Upholstery, Soft Furnishing and Lampshade-making classes. Established in 1797, Johnstons has generously provided both tweed and cashmere from its new Home Collection to be utilised and enjoyed by Style Academy patrons, as well as being used to cover various items from The Style Academy's own collection of beautiful things.
